Update: replaced bridges

After the flooding in winter 2015/6 a number of bridges that were washed away have been replaced: two bridges around Loch Muick and the bridge at the Linn of Quoich, so these should not affect planned expedition routes any more.

Update: Allt Fhearnasdail bridge in Glen Feshie

The bridge over the Allt Fhearnasdail (NN 827 983) was washed away in the 2915/6 winter floods. An expedition who went through the area report that it is possible to cross the river slightly upsteam of the bridge where the river is approximately 3m wide with ankle depth slow moving water. However, teams planning to use this route should bear in mind that if water levels rise this crossing may not be safe without the bridge.
