    Mountain water Expeditions

    Mountain Water Expeditions is a small independent company based in Liverpool providing land and water based expeditions, UK mountain skills courses, mountain challenges, Duke of Edinburgh’s Award expeditions, residential experiences and adventure based outdoor activities. Mountain Water Expeditions is owned and run by Alan Pinnington who is passionate about sharing adventures and providing high quality experiences on land and water. A small team of independent highly qualified specialists support Alan in his work. Mountain Water Expeditions offer a complete expedition package at all three levels of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, which takes young people through the mandatory stages for preparation and assessment in the expedition section.

    Wildside Expeditions

    Bronze and silver DofE expeditions, all walking. Locations; North East Wales, Clwydian Hills, Denbighshire & Flintshire, Peak District. We also offer a full training programme for any DofE expedition.

    Wilderness Development

    Wilderness Development offers instructors for walking and canoeing DoE programmes at levels from Bronze - Gold in the Peak District and surrounding areas. We offer training, practice and assessed expeditions, and our team of enthusiastic instructors pride themselves on their professionalism and passion for the outdoors. Canoeing expeditions are offered in addition to staple walking expeds. As a small, responsive company, we pride ourselves on our flexibility and can-do attitude. Canoeing equipment is available for paddling expeditions, or we offer instructor-only programmes for groups who are looking for qualified staff to support their existing programmes.

     LIFEbeat is a UK charity founded in 2009. Our mission is to improve the wellbeing of young people - giving them the skills and inspiration to overcome the challenges they face, to lead confident, healthy and purposeful lives and to navigate the divisions in society. We offer Personal development programmes for 14-18 year-olds comprising residential summer camps and peer-mentoring programme, alongside professional adult trainings and adult volunteering opportunities.

    The camps take place in beautiful rural surroundings in Leicestershire and Devon. Supported by a team of facilitators, young people at our camps necome part of a comm8nity where they reflect on their lives, their relationships and their aspirations. The programme uses creative activities such as music, art, dance, games and storytelling, with a constant emphasis on inclusion, interaction and above all, fun.

    Pure Adventure CIC are specialist providers of outdoor adventurous activities for children, young people and those with additional needs. We provide activities that are accessible to all despite physical, mental or social barriers.

    Chiltern Adventure

    We are able to offer training for paddlesport based expeditions, and walking expeditions at a bronze and silver level, and operate across the UK.

    Peak District National Park Conservation Residential Projects

    The Peak Park Conservation Volunteers (PPCV) provides fantastic conservation opportunities alongside the Peak District National Park Rangers.


    You will be involved in a variety of practical conservation projects throughout the National Park during your residential.

    You will be located within the beautiful Peak District National Park at our residential centres, Marsh Farm, near Leek and Brunt’s Barn, near Grindleford.

    We provide food, accommodation, use of tools / equipment and insurance for £195. Our projects are available throughout the year for people aged 18 and above and are allocated on a first-come first-served basis (the summer projects are starting to fill up so please don’t leave it too late to book on).

    Nevis4 Outdoor Adventures

    Nevis4 Outdoor Adventures are an Accredited Activity Provider, we also hold an ALAA licence. We offer training, practice and qualifying expeditions at Bronze, Silver and Gold, for individuals and organisations, we can offer expeditions on foot, cycle and open canoe at home and abroad and we organise open expeditions for individuals and teams.     Reach Out Adventures

    Reach out adventures an Social Enterprise Organisation which provides Training & Expeditions for Duke of Edinburgh's Bronze & Silver Awards.


    We offer ideal packages designed for Schools, youth groups and for young people with Additional Needs, which provides suitable structure to suit their abilities.

    Grafham water Centre

    We are delighted to support candidates in achieving their DofE Gold Award by offering an activity based residential experience. Spend five days and four nights away from home with like-minded people and complete a National Governing Body Award in either Sailing, Paddlesports or Climbing. Which one you choose is up to you!!


    The residential costs £375 and includes food, accommodation and activity instruction.

    Albany Outdoors provide expeditions in the following modes of paddlesport:

    Open Canoe, Kayaking, Stand up paddleboard and bellboat & Kata canoe

    Expeditions are offered at Bronze and Silver level

    Reach Out Adventures

    Reach out adventures provides Bronze & Silver award Packages, which includes all training, Practice though to Qualifying Expeditions.

    Participants have a chose of traveling by; Walking or canoeing. Expeditions & Training opportunities will run around Lincoln, Lincolnshire, & Peak District areas for Bronze award, Silver Award will run around Peak District areas.


    Reach out adventures works with (Schools & Youth Groups) and with Individuals who we bring together to form a Group (An Open Expedition). We offer Introduction Parents evening (optional), Pre-Training Days & Classroom Training, which on some packages are already added, however are available to add on at any time on request.
