    Remote Outdoor First Aid Training 2018 - Surrey First Aid

    This is a 16 hour course, delivered over two 8 hour days. The two days are completed outside with practical learning scenarios.

    The cost of this course is £150 + VAT = £180 per person.

    This course covers the following content:

    Primary assessment
    Recovery position
    Resuscitation
    Choking management
    Management of an unconscious casualty
    Secondary assessment
    Major trauma
    Head, chest and internal injury
    Spinal recovery position
    Hypothermia
    Acute mountain sickness
    Cold related injuries
    Management of fractures
    Common medical emergencies
    On successful completion of the course delegates will receive a Remote Outdoor First Aid certificate which is valid for 3 years.

    This course includes FREE course resources and FREE venue parking.

    Our 16 hour Remote Outdoor First Aid training course is held at our public venue on a Saturday and Sunday near Guildford, and the course runs from 9.00am to 5.00pm.

    First Aid Training Cooperative courses


    First Aid Training Cooperative offers a wide range of first aid training courses catering for different experience levels, ranging from beginners’ courses to advanced first aid training and sector-specialist courses. 

    The Co-operative specialises in running outdoor first aid courses which meet the requirements of NGBs and DofE Award assessors and supervisors. We offer a large number of public courses for individuals in addition to private courses for groups at their own venue. 

    Our training includes both theoretical work and practical scenarios, providing memorable and easily applicable training and suitable for different learning styles. Our outdoor first aid trainers all have an outdoor background; either as outdoor instructors, in mountain rescue or as wilderness medics.

    Our courses cover essential first aid knowledge, transferrable into real life emergency situations.
