Volunteer Opportunities with Lasswade Athletics Club, Midlothian

Volunteer Opportunities with Lasswade Athletics Club

Lasswade AC are looking for new recruits to help in the coaching of our athletics sessions. New recruits will initially be involved with the coaching of Multi Event Athletics Groups for Primary School Aged Children. No experience is necessary, although enthusiasm and an ability to work with children is essential. Continual training, support and supervision will be provided by qualified, PVG registered coaches. As a volunteer organisation we are always eager to support our members. In this regard the club is happy to support and finance volunteers who wish to further their skills. As such a variety of training courses will be made available to all volunteers.

Additional volunteer opportunities are available, to those who may be interested, in Athletics Officiating, Course Marshalling and the running of Club Events.

The main venue for the club is at Dalkeith Campus on Monday and Thursday evenings, however we do have additional classes running in the Midlothian area.

For further information on these opportunities please contact Craig Morton at:
    lasswadeathletics@gmail.com
    07751279456

Minimum age for these opportunities is 16 and participants must check with their DofE leader before starting to volunteer with the Club.
