YHA new residential volunteering role for leaders or gold award holders

YHA (England and Wales) has a new volunteer role for DofE award! We will train volunteers to help our hostels run DofE Gold Residentials. You'll be helping the hostel take care of the volunteers pastoral needs - making sure they're fed and watered, running evening activities, making sure the ice is well and truly broken! By volunteering as a Leader, you're helping to give our Residential volunteers the best experience possible!

Volunteers will be given travel expenses and accommodation when they give their time. It's a fantastic way to develop your leadership skills, travel the country, and use the knowledge you picked up during your own DofE Award.

If you'd like to become a YHA DofE Residential Leader, we have a training course coming up soon, so get in touch today! Please contact [email protected] for more information.
